Ashley joined the Exquisite Events team in April 2011. Ashley has always loved entertaining and hosting events for friends and family. In college, she was able to further her event planning skills coordinating fundraisers, formal balls and various social events. With her energetic and optimistic personality, Ashley is a perfect fit.
Along with her organization skills and past experience, Ashley and the Exquisite Events Team make planning your wedding a wonderful and stress free experience.
Ashley was born and raised in sunny Florida and loves the Florida lifestyle. She attended University of SouthFlorida majoring in Psychology. Ashley has worked as a counselor after graduating college but still carried her passion for event planning. After planning her own beautiful beach wedding, she was not able to get wedding planning off her mind. “I couldn’t stop looking through bridal magazines and websites. As a member of Exquisite Events, I not only get to fulfill my passion but also get to help your dreams become a reality. I love all types of weddings from an intimate ceremony on the beach to an extravagant, all out production. I love what I do!”
Wedding Favorites:
- Dancing: The first dance is beautiful. Watching the bride and groom in their own world on the dance floor is magical. I am also a big fan of line dances, especially the Cupid Shuffle and Cha-Cha. These dances always seem to get the crowd moving!
- Flowers: I love color…the brighter the better! Adding a beautiful bold centerpiece to your guest tables will turn any venue into something spectacular. Gerbera daisies are my absolute favorite for beach weddings!
- Cake: Simple is elegant!
- Memorable Moment/Photo: The first time the groom sees the bride. Whether it is at the ceremony or a private first look beforehand, I love to watch the groom’s reaction. It really sets the mood and you can feel the love in the air.
Favorite things about my wedding: It was on the beach and very laid back; a perfect fit for me and my husband’s personality. It was like a mini-vacation for everyone with everything held at a resort on the beach; no one ever had to leave the island. Flip flops were a must and everyone seemed to be relaxed and have a wonderful time. Oh, and I got to marry my best friend!
