Overlooking a nationally recognized and award winning Italian garden complete with original sculpture, fountains and pottery, the Pergola covered tearoom with draping wisteria vines and original Harkness graperies would be the ideal setting for a new couple’s exchange of wedding vows.
Multiple accommodations within the mansion create a magical setting that will have lifelong memories. Most popular for cocktails and dancing is the tent and terrace. Café tables and chairs placed throughout the terrace allow guests to dine and dance as the moon can be seen also dancing on the waters of the Long Island Sound. Another favorite room for all brides is the Breakfast room. Drenched in painted floral arrangements along the ceilings depicting the four seasons, the breakfast room has been a stunning location for the cake as well as coffee and desserts. And tucked away on the second floor, is the Bride’s Dressing Room. This light room provides the tranquility and luxury a new bride and her wedding party can use to prepare for her special day before she descends the staircase to meet her groom.
The Eolia Mansion in Harkness State Park creates the most unforgettable memories and accommodations for those seeking a magical venue for their special wedding. The mansion is available Memorial Day through Labor Day for amazing weddings beginning after 5:00 pm. During the off-season, the mansion is available during the day or evening.
